On Letting Go

it’s often very easy to hold on to something- a person, job, idea,-because it’s comfortable and familiar.

Sometimes we even hold onto things that are harmful or stop our growth just because it’s comfortable or easy or just less scary than doing something new.

Letting go is scary. Letting go feels like loss because it IS a loss. On the other hand, letting go lets you make space for new people, places, experiences, etc.

when you find yourself holding on to something ask yourself:

  • What would my life look like if I let this go?

  • Who’s voice do I hear telling me to hang on?

  • What fears are feeding into my desire to hang on?
